A chemical peel, known as chemo-exfoliation/derma peeling. A non-invasive exfoliation that uses high concentration chemical solution to remove layers of the skin reveals the more youthful skin underneath.

It promotes new cell proliferation, rejuvenation, tightening, smoothening, and collagen synthesis resulting in youthful and radiant skin.

It is selected based on your skin condition during the visit. There are various types of chemical peel classified into targeted skin depth: Superficial peel and Medium peel. Such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, glutathione peel, whitening peel, Modified Jessner, etc.

You may experience skin sensitivity, dryness, peeling, and mild redness following treatment. It will have resolved within the first 5-7 days. You must frequently apply moisturizer to improve the skin barrier and practice sun protection.

Precautions: If you are on Aspirin or any photosensitive medications, you must inform your doctor before treatment.

It can be done every 3-4 weeks interval depending on the type of peel you have chosen.
