Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur around the injection sites. The treated area may look slightly fuller at first because of both filler placement and initial swelling.

Common temporary effects can include redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, firmness, bruising, itching or small lumps around the injection area. JUVÉDERM® should not be used in people with certain severe allergy histories or known allergy to specific product components such as lidocaine.
